Black Stars midfielder Kwasi Sibo has officially joined Libyan Premier League giants Al Swehly SC, completing his move to the Misrata-based club.

The 27-year-old was unveiled by Al Swehly in a lively welcome ceremony, with his new teammates forming a guard of honour as he walked through the line wearing his new number 16 shirt.

Smiling throughout the initiation, Sibo appeared in high spirits as he officially began life at his new club.

The Ghana international joins Al Swehly after gaining valuable experience in European football, where he has built a reputation as a tough-tackling and energetic midfielder.

His ability to win possession, cover ground and provide defensive stability in the middle of the park has made him an important option for Ghana head coach Otto Addo.

Sibo was part of the Black Stars squad during Ghana's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign and will now look to maintain his international momentum while adapting to the Libyan Premier League.
