MTN SME Business Clinic Equips Western Region Entrepreneurs with Business, Branding and Digital Skills
Takoradi, Western Region – July 15–16, 2026: MTN Ghana, in partnership with SME Grow Africa (SMEGA), successfully hosted a two-day SME Business Clinic at the Best Western Plus Serene Atlantic Hotel, empowering entrepreneurs with practical skills to build resilient, competitive and profitable businesses.
Held under the theme, “Building a Strong Business Model Through Unique Branding,” the clinic brought together entrepreneurs, start-up founders and business leaders for expert-led training, networking and mentorship. Participants received practical insights into business planning, financial management, branding, digital marketing, customer service and business compliance.
Facilitating the opening session, Mr. Richard Magloe urged participants to build strong business models driven by clear value propositions and consistent branding, stressing that trust, quality and customer satisfaction are essential for long-term success.
MTN Business also showcased a range of digital solutions, including YellowBiz, Microsoft 365, Business Eye, SME Plus and Adwumapa, designed to help SMEs improve efficiency and accelerate growth.
The programme concluded on July 16 with a certificate and awards presentation to participants, recognising their successful completion of the training. The clinic forms part of MTN Ghana’s ongoing commitment to supporting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through capacity building, innovation and digital transformation to drive economic growth and job creation in Ghana.
