The newly elected leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Western Region has pledged to embark on an aggressive campaign to reclaim all parliamentary seats lost by the party in the region.


Speaking on KYZZ FM this morning, the newly elected NPP Western Regional Women’s Organizer, Augustina Asiefuaba Nketsiah, disclosed that the regional executives, led by Chairman Ignatius Kwasi Afrifa, have committed themselves to what they describe as an “Operation Recover All Lost Seats” agenda.


According to Madam Nketsiah, the newly elected executives are united in their determination to rebuild the party’s fortunes across the region and work towards restoring the NPP’s presence in constituencies where it suffered electoral setbacks.


She said Chairman Ignatius Kwasi Afrifa has assured the party that no stone would be left unturned in the effort, stressing that the leadership is prepared to mobilize the necessary financial and logistical support to ensure that the ambitious objective is achieved.


The regional women’s organizer noted that the commitment from the new leadership should give party members and supporters renewed confidence as the party begins preparations to strengthen its grassroots structures and reconnect with voters] across the Western Region.


Madam Nketsiah further expressed appreciation to the delegates who participated in the regional elections, thanking them for the confidence reposed in her and the other newly elected executives.


She pledged to work closely with the regional leadership and party faithful to advance the interests of the NPP and contribute meaningfully to the party’s efforts to regain lost ground.


The “Operation Recover All Lost Seats” campaign is expected to place renewed emphasis on grassroots mobilization, unity among party executives and supporters, and sustained engagement with constituents as the NPP seeks to reverse its electoral fortunes in the Western Region.


With the new regional leadership signalling its readiness to commit resources and political energy to the task, the coming months are likely to see heightened activity within the NPP as it seeks to translate its recovery agenda into electoral gains.
