Telecel DigiTech Academy Cohort 4 Graduates in Kwesimintsim

The Telecel Ghana Foundation, in partnership with the Mingo Foundation, has graduated Cohort 4 of the Telecel DigiTech Academy after participants successfully completed a 12-week training programme in digital and STEM education.

The graduation ceremony, held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at St. Anthony of Padua Primary and JHS in Kwesimintsim, brought together the Member of Parliament for Kwesimintsim, Hon. Fiifi Buckman, the Municipal Director of Education, traditional leaders, Telecel Ghana Foundation officials, teachers, parents and students.

The programme equipped pupils with practical skills in coding, robotics, digital literacy, design thinking and problem-solving to prepare them for opportunities in the digital economy.

Speaking at the ceremony, Head of Foundation, Sustainability and External Communications at Telecel Ghana Foundation, Mrs. Rita Agyei Rockson, urged the graduates to continue developing their digital skills and use innovation to solve real-life challenges. The Municipal Director of Education commended the Foundation for complementing classroom learning with practical technology education, while Hon. Fiifi Buckman praised the initiative for

empowering young people through quality STEM education.

The event featured student project exhibitions and the presentation of certificates to participants who successfully completed the programme, reaffirming Telecel Ghana Foundation’s commitment to promoting digital literacy and STEM education across Ghana.
